Sick And Depressed Pup Cried Her Little Heart Out Hoping Somebody Would Show Her Love And Kindness

Ever since she was born, a sweet puppy by the name of Willow only dreamed of being a part of a loving family with whom she could spend the rest of her days.

Unfortunately, Willow’s dreams came crashing down when she was abandoned at a local market, forced to fend for herself and survive the harsh life of the streets.

Willow tried her best to stay strong, but in the end, she was just a little baby who needed a strong figure to protect her from the outside world. So, she cried and begged, hoping that a kind pup or hooman would offer a helping hand or paw and take her in.

Help Is Here, Dear Willow

Luckily, a kind hooman heard her cries, and as soon as they noticed her unfortunate condition, they took her in and rushed her to the nearest vet.

The poor girl had a really faint heartbeat, and her body temperature was concerningly low. The vets determined that she had a hypoglycemic episode and immediately put her on a heating pad in order to warm her up a bit.

She was also suffering from mange and scabies, and was extremely malnourished.

After the vet appointment, the hooman took her to their home and gave them a nice, warm bath. When Willow was all nice and clean, her rescuer gave her some food so that she could regain some of her strength.

After spending some time with her new hooman, and after being well taken care of, Willow started to recover. She became playful and happy, and her real personality started to shine.

She gained a healthy appetite and started eating more. She also became much more active, spending her free time playing with her hoomans or other doggo siblings.

Willow is already doing much better and is looking for a forever home!

If you are able to offer this sweet girl a loving home where she will continue to thrive and live out her dream of being a happy pup, please follow this link for more information.

Doggos And Neglect

Unfortunately, many pups still live the life Willow was saved from.

According to The Wildest, 20% of cats and dogs in the U.S. are homeless, with 5.9 million dogs living on the streets and 2.3 million in shelters.

Most of the pups who are forced to endure the harshness of street life have no idea what a belly rub or a warm bed feels like. All they know is hunger and loneliness. Day after day, they try their best to survive, looking for scraps to fill their hungry belly.

But, there is still hope!

With a little care and attention, we hoomans can rewrite their stories! By coming together, we can take them off the streets and into our warm homes, providing them with the life they truly deserve!

So, let’s head down to our local shelter and adopt!

Ever noticed your female furry friend engaging in some unexpected behavior? Girl dogs humping might raise a few eyebrows, but there’s more to it than meets the eye. As a seasoned dog trainer, you’re familiar with the quirks and habits of our canine companions. When it comes to this particular behavior, there’s a whole world of reasons behind it that might surprise you.

You’ve spent countless hours understanding and decoding the actions of your four-legged pals. Girl dogs humping is just one piece of the puzzle that adds to the complexity and charm of our beloved pets. So, let’s take a closer look at this behavior and unravel the fascinating insights that lie beneath the surface.

Understanding the Behavior: Why Do Girl Dogs Hump

Exploring Dominance and Social Hierarchies

Female dogs hump as a way to assert dominance or establish their position in the social hierarchy. This behavior is not necessarily about sexual intentions but can be a display of power dynamics within a group of dogs. By engaging in humping, female dogs communicate their status and strength to others in their pack.

The Role of Play and Excitement

Humping can also be a part of play behavior or a response to excitement. Female dogs may hump when they are feeling playful or when they are overstimulated. It’s their way of expressing energy, excitement, or even just having fun. In such cases, it is more about the action itself rather than any specific intention behind it.

Hormonal Influences on Female Dogs

Hormonal changes can significantly influence a female dog’s humping behavior. Just like in humans, fluctuations in hormone levels, particularly during heat cycles, can lead to increased mounting in female dogs. These hormonal shifts can trigger humping as a way for dogs to release tension or respond to their biological urges.

Remember, understanding why female dogs hump goes beyond a simple explanation and involves multiple factors such as dominance, play, excitement, and hormonal influences. By recognizing these aspects, you can better comprehend this behavior in your furry companion.

Medical Perspectives on Humping in Female Dogs

Stress-Related Behaviors and Anxiety

When observing your female dog humping excessively, it could indicate underlying stress or anxiety. Just like humans, dogs can exhibit behavior issues when feeling overwhelmed. Humping might be a coping mechanism for your furry friend when dealing with stressful situations. It’s essential to observe your dog’s environment and interactions to identify potential stress triggers.

Identifying Underlying Health Issues

Humping in female dogs can also be a sign of underlying health issues. It’s crucial to monitor your dog’s overall well-being and consult with a veterinarian if you notice a sudden increase in humping behavior. Health problems such as urinary tract infections or skin allergies can sometimes manifest through unusual behaviors like excessive humping. Regular veterinary check-ups can help rule out any medical reasons for this behavior.

Training and Management of Humping Behaviors

Positive Reinforcement and Behavior Modification

When addressing humping behaviors in your female dog, positive reinforcement is key. Rewarding good behavior can help redirect your dog’s actions. For instance, when your dog engages in play or other activities instead of humping, offer praise or treats to reinforce the positive behavior. This approach can help your dog associate good behavior with positive outcomes, gradually reducing humping tendencies.

When to Seek Help from a Professional Trainer

If your female dog’s humping behavior persists despite efforts to modify it through positive reinforcement, seeking help from a professional trainer could be beneficial. A trainer with experience in behavior modification can assess the underlying reasons for your dog’s humping and create a customized training plan. They can provide guidance on effective techniques to address the behavior and work with you to implement strategies tailored to your dog’s specific needs, ensuring a positive and successful outcome.
