Welcome to our Seattle-based nonprofit organization with a heartfelt mission: to enhance the health and happiness of rescue dogs and the community, all through the magic of positive human-animal connections.
Our Mission:
At our core, we are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of puppies in dire need. We reach across state lines to overcrowded kill shelters in the Southern United States, where these innocent souls face a bleak future. With boundless hope and unwavering dedication, we give these puppies a second chance at life.
Our approach is simple yet profound. We transport these Southern-born pups on a freedom flight to the lush Pacific Northwest, where they embark on a journey to find loving forever homes. But that’s not all – during their stay in foster care, these puppies become well-socialized PNW (Pacific Northwest) pups, blossoming into wonderful companions.
A Win-Win for All:
Our rescue puppies play a pivotal role in two communities: the furry ones they become a part of and the human offices they visit. These delightful, tail-wagging visitors not only help raise funds to support more puppies in need but also brighten the lives of the office workers they meet.
Office visits offer more than just cute puppy cuddles; they provide crucial socialization and exposure for our puppies during their formative months. This is a pivotal time in their development, and we are committed to making it a positive one.
In return, these puppies bring immeasurable joy and a unique way to boost office morale. They offer a welcomed respite from the daily grind, easing stress and reminding us all of the simple joys in life.
Why the South?
You may wonder why we focus on the Southern United States. In our beautiful city of Seattle, responsible spay and neuter practices have been embraced, leading to a low population of puppies in need. The demand for rescue puppies here is exceedingly high, a testament to the compassionate hearts that abound in the Pacific Northwest.
However, this demand also means that many families, despite their best intentions, are unable to adopt a rescue puppy and may inadvertently support less humane sources of dogs. Meanwhile, in the Southern states, high-kill shelters are forced to make heart-wrenching decisions, often euthanizing entire litters of unwanted and abandoned puppies.
We bridge this divide by giving a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves, by saving lives and creating a better future for both puppies and families in our community. Join us in our quest to make the world a better place, one paw at a time. Together, we can create a brighter and more compassionate future for rescue dogs and the people who love them.
